The Bureaucrat
He wasn’t like most of the other bureaucrats, afraid to take action. He was a decisive bureaucrat. So when he ran out of staples, he knew exactly what to do.
First, he got in his car and drove over to the White House. He shot two guards and ran in to see the President. “Mister President!” he yelled, “I must have!…” But then he forgot what he came for.
“Get out of here,” said the President. “And whatever you do, don’t press that missile button over there.”
“This one?” said the bureaucrat.
